Darn It! Inc. was established in 1996. We are a family run distribution and refurbishment business.
We provide door to door logistic solutions, warehousing & distribution services for the ever-changing needs of retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers worldwide.
We also offer a full line of quality control services including 100% inspection, re-packaging, repairs, returns processing, mold remediation, label change, dry cleaning/laundering & pressing.
Jeff Glassman joined his family’s apparel business in 1994, just as the North American Free Trade Agreement took effect. By 1996, their New Bedford factory had lost so much business to lower-cost competitors in Mexico that it laid off over three-fourths of its workers. An old customer then asked Glassman to fix 30,000 damaged trousers from Mexico, prompting him to launch his own company, Darn It!, specializing in repairing and refurbishing clothing.
Darn It! also operates a warehouse and distribution arm, which now accounts for 40 percent of revenues. The division has more than 20 customers, mostly wholesalers and Web-based businesses, looking to save on overhead. Their merchandise — which ranges from clothes to books to watches — is shipped in bulk to Darn It!, which then separates orders and sends them to stores and homes.
